Pain from chemotherapy

My friend’s father is diagnosed with Stage 3 blood cancer and is currently taking chemotherapy. He is going through lots of pain and chemotherapy is not much helping him.
Is there any mantra or switch word for him to get relief and/or to help with chemotherapy? As he will not able to chant for he is too weak, but his daughter (i.e. my friend) will chant or do whatever you suggest for him.
Naran
Chant “HARI OM” as many times as possible. In addition, chant “HARI OM” over a glass of water and give that water to him with the help of a spoon.

Help for Health 
My father is having prostate cancer; he is 70 yrs old; The doctors said that he can’t withstand surgery as he went through hernia, appendix, cataract (both eyes), gall bladder. So, they removed his testicles a week ago and he is resting. One of Naran’s followers gave me this to chant: “Concede Clear Center Cancel Old Undead Cells Find New Cells”, Hare Ram Hare Ram, Rama Rama Hare Hare; Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare.
In addition to this, can we (family members) chant “Hari Om” also? Is there anything else we can do to make the prostate gland shrink and to make the cancer cells vanish from his body?
